Sarah Levy is a writer and the author of the essay collection Drinking Games. She was born in New York City, received her undergraduate degree from Brown University, and pursed an MFA in fiction from The New School. Her work has appeared in the New York Times and TIME Magazine, among other publications. She lives in Los Angeles.

Drinking Games, published in 2023 by St. Martin’s Press, explores the role alcohol has in our formative years and what it means to opt out of a culture enmeshed in drinking. It was named one of the best books of the year by Glamour, featured on “Good Morning America,” and is an Amazon Editors’ Pick in Best Biographies & Memoirs. The book is now available in paperback and as an audiobook, narrated by the author.
